Cynthia Fonseca Chavez - REALTOR®
Born and raised in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico where I lived for 26 years; I received my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle Bajio University where I met my now-husband. I graduated in 2007 and worked for a local bank for about 2.5 years.
My husband and I married in 2009 and a year later, he received a new job that required him to either travel all the time or move from project to project, so we decided to move so we could stay together and started raising our family. In the last 10 years, we have lived in 13 different homes, 10 cities, and 3 different countries (Mexico, Canada, and the USA). In 2017, we moved to Greenville, SC, originally it was going to be temporary but we fell in love with the area and in 2019, we decided to make it our new home.
Moving so much in relatively short notice usually to a new town, which I knew nothing about it, not knowing anyone I could ask for help, was a great learning experience of how the real estate market works. I had to do a lot of research in very little time, tour houses and apartments, search for schools, set up utilities, etc., all with the constrain to be close to my husband’s work. I really enjoyed it, which is why I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate! I want to leverage the experience acquired to help people find their new home whether they are new in town or have been here a while or even a lifetime.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have 3 beautiful kids, 2 boys and 1 girl who love Greenville and root for Clemson even though my Husband is a Hoosier!
